Field report

From bauma to Schwerproject

The 3-axle low loader of the MegaMAX type earns its first merits transporting transformer stations.

At bauma in Munich, the 3-axle MegaMAX lowbed trailer was one of the many exhibits on the Faymonville Group’s stand.

Shortly afterwards, the vehicle went straight from being a showpiece to a working machine – just as it should be.

The company Schwerproject from Frohburg took the opportunity and secured the immediately available low loader.

With a basic deck length of 6.5 meters, the vessel bridge is extremely compact, which allows the combination to manoeuvre easily even in tight areas.

When required, the loading platform can be extended telescopically, offering complete flexibility. The pendle axles provide the well-known advantages in terms of maximum manoeuvrability and optimal off-road capability.

In transport projects such as this transformer house, the new vehicle proves its strengths in daily use.
